Managing RADIUS Connections
CAUTION: This topic documents the legacy solution for remote access authentication with Imprivata OneSign only. Imprivata Enterprise Access Management (formerly Imprivata Confirm ID) offers remote access authentication with password, Imprivata ID, SMS Code authentication, and external OTP tokens. See Configuring Remote Access.
Imprivata includes a built-in RADIUS (Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service) server to provide centralized authentication for dial-up and VPN network access. The internal RADIUS server allows Imprivata OneSign to act as a single administration point for user remote authentication.
Imprivata contains a built-in RADIUS host for handling remote access authentication using Symantec VIP Credentials, domain passwords, OneSpan (formerly VASCO) OTP tokens, or ID tokens.
You manage RADIUS client and server connections on the Remote access integrations page from the Applications menu of the Imprivata Admin Console.
Generating an Imprivata RADIUS Activity Report
Imprivata can report on all RADIUS activity known to Imprivata. The View RADIUS Activity button brings you to the Reports page, with a daily RADIUS activity report set up and ready to run. To return to the Remote access integrations page, go to the Applications menu.
