Managing RADIUS Connections
This topic documents the legacy solution for remote access authentication with Imprivata Enterprise Access Management SSO (formerly Imprivata OneSign) only.
Imprivata Enterprise Access Management MFA (formerly Imprivata Confirm ID) offers remote access authentication with password, Imprivata ID, SMS Code authentication, and external OTP tokens. See Configuring Remote Access.
Imprivata includes a built-in RADIUS (Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service) server to provide centralized authentication for dial-up and VPN network access. The internal RADIUS server allows Enterprise Access Management to act as a single administration point for user remote authentication.
Enterprise Access Management contains a built-in RADIUS host for handling remote access authentication using Symantec VIP Credentials, domain passwords, OneSpan (formerly VASCO) OTP tokens, or ID tokens.
You manage RADIUS client and server connections on the Remote access integrations page from the Applications menu of the Imprivata Admin Console.
Generating an Imprivata RADIUS Activity Report
Imprivata can report on all RADIUS activity known to Imprivata. The View RADIUS Activity button brings you to the Reports page, with a daily RADIUS activity report set up and ready to run. To return to the Remote access integrations page, go to the Applications menu.
