CPAM Vendors
Overview
A CPAM Vendor is the owner of the license to use CPAM. Vendors use CPAM to establish secure and remote connections to their own customers infrastructure to provide support, solve issues, and transfer files. When acquiring a CPAM license, Vendors obtain access to the Administrator Console, where they can create, edit, and modify connections to their customers' infrastructure.
Benefits for Vendors
By acquiring a CPAM license, vendors can:
-
Group all their customers into a single solution, standardizing the way they provide support and connect to their customers' systems from a single entry point: the CPAM server.
-
Customize services to provide remote support to their customers using the CPAM Connection Manager client solution.
-
Offer security and privacy to their customers, as vendors only have access that the CPAM Customer configures access to.
-
Meet and sometimes surpass security requirements.
-
Reduce risk for themselves and their customers by using zero-trust access.
-
Provide transparency and ensure compliance by sharing activity logs of all the support sessions carried out with the CPAM server.
